All Families

The cost of the RDI® Program varies from consultant to consultant. Fees range from $6500-$9500 per year per child, considerably less expensive than other interventions.

Please click here for The Hope Source 2009 Fee Schedule. To help our families afford the program, The Hope Source offers monthly payments for a year of services.

Most families with private insurance have been successful at receiving reimbursement for RDI® Program services. The Hope Source will create a treatment plan for your physician to sign and be submitted to your insurance company. The first payment is due from family in order to begin services or to secure place on waiting list, while waiting for approval from insurance.

Please note: The Hope Source is more than willing to help you get coverage, but it is the responsibility of the client to obtain authorization and ensure reimbursement or payment.

Indiana Families

The Indiana Autism Mandate has helped families get reimbursement for RDI® services, some families excluded from the mandate are getting reimbursed for RDI® services. Your employer determines eligibility for the mandate. If you company is not based in Indiana or is self-insured, the mandate does not apply. However, please contact your Human Resources department for assistance.

We suggest that you include a copy of the mandate when submitting to your insurance for approval. Please follow this link for mandate details: http://www.in.gov/idoi/files/Bulletin136.pdf

For individuals with the BDDS Support Services Waiver, the $2000 “Family and Caregiver Training” monies can be used for RDI® services.

Kentucky and Ohio Families

Kentucky also has an autism mandate.

Kentucky and Ohio families have been successful in receiving reimbursement for RDI Program services. In order to receive “in-network” status for Hope Source services, the family must demonstrate that there is no other Certified Consultant in the state or within a certain radius.

Established by the Ohio General Assembly in June 2003, the Ohio Autism Scholarship Program provides funds to parents of qualified special education children. It provides the opportunity for parents to choose a different implementer of the child’s Individualized Education Program (IEP) other than the child’s school district of residence. The scholarship funds shall be used only to pay for services outlined on the child’s IEP. The maximum amount of the scholarships is $20,000 per school year.

The Hope Source, Inc. has contracted with North Coast Tutoring in order to provide RDI® Program services under the Scholarship.
